Position Overview:

The Event Canvasser collects contact details and signatures, meets daily and weekly quotas, and participates in professional development. Key responsibilities include attending outreach events, building relationships through targeted canvassing, and conducting door-to-door visits to assess resource eligibility.


Event Canvasser  Details:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday 10AM-2PM or 12PM-4PM
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour 
  • Type: Contract until November with opportunity to extend!


Event Canvasser Job Description: 
  • Participate in community outreach events (60% of the time) and conduct door-to-door canvassing (40% of the time) to raise awareness and connect residents with eligible resources.
  • Assist with text banking for SNAP and Child Income Tax Credit applications and support the application process.
  • Consistently achieve daily and weekly targets for client information and signature acquisition.

Event Canvasser Job  Requirements:
  • Minimum of six months of related experience. 
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
